[GE users] "cannot execute binary file"

Paul,

I'm not having such problems with 6.0u4/6.0u7 with shell start modes
posix_compliant and unix_behavior (the British English spelling
unix_behaviour should be denied by the config).

I did a

    qrsh -verbose env hostname

This works on Solaris and Linux (32+64 bit).
