PID PPID PGRP RUSER USER RGROUP GROUP COMMAND
30186 1 30186 root sgeadmin root adm
/gridware/sge/bin/lx26-amd64/sge_execd

I can see no reason why it was not started under roots default PATH
/usr/sbin:/sbin:/usr/bin:/bin:/gridware/sge/bin/lx26-amd64:/opt/mpich/ch-p4/bin:/usr/local/sbin:/usr/local/bin

Am I right in thinking that a job will be run under the environment
given by the environment file in the jobs spool directory?
For instance
/gridware/sge/default/spool/maxwell-a13-grid/active_jobs/10348.1/environment
has
