hi Bill,

You have to setup the new qmaster to use different ports and start a
unique set of execd's on the compute nodes, but its not too bad (I have
done it a couple of times in the past).

Subject: [GE users] testing purposes

For the purposes of testing a new install as a replacement for the
current qmaster, can two qmasters share the same set of nodes? This is
not one qmaster and one shadow but two separate qmasters on two separate
hosts. Will the nodes understand what qmaster submitted the job and
where to return the results?

Thanks for your help.

Bill
