Just pick 2). Your Xeon supports the EM64T instruction set, which is
essentially AMD64.

Note that in the 6.1 download page, we specifically say "Linux
AMD64/EM64T, kernel 2.4, 2.6, glibc >= 2.3.2" instead of just AMD64.
