[GE users] problem with compile GE 6.0 on RedHat 7.2

My $SGE_ROOT/qmon folder contains only
1 directory : PIXMAPS
2 files         : Qmon and  qmon_help.ad

Is this stuff essential or at least useful ? I don't need eyecandy.
