[GE users] commd infinite loop?

Yes, I upgraded to 5.3p6, so it could have been that as well.
However, I suspect that there may have been a transient name
resolution failure when I was installing the first time that caused
localhost to be entered in the list of execution hosts. It seems like
it might be a good idea to check for this and never register
"localhost" as a host name, to avoid this issue...
