[GE users] user feels penalized by share tree

    compensation_factor
Determines how fast Grid Engine should compensate for past
usage below
of above the share entitlement defined in the share tree.
Recommended
values are between 2 and 10, where 10 means faster compensation.

The basic idea is that, with a lower value, the different between the
target share and the actual share is limited. This means that a user
who happens to be over their current target will not be very far under
the target when other users start using the grid. It basically limits
the amount of "compensation" which the scheduler can force.

I believe a value of 1 means no compensation -- which means a user will
never be under their target share (they can of course be over, when no
one else is using the resources).

Please try changing this value and see what happens.

Regards,
	Charu
