Ahh.

Use softlimits.  As long as you don't catch the signal, you get a good
message in the log.  If you do catch the signal, then it is your own
fault!

I would like to have enforced CPU usage limitation for a short run
queue.  But I also need to know why a job aborted.
If a job is killed for going over its CPU allocation, how can I make
sure an error message to that effect is written in the log or emailed to
the user?
