Sorry, I've overseen the "2". . Just 4.3 is supported.

Yes I know.

If the mentioned machines run no interactive jobs and no tightly integrated
parallel jobs there is a chance that it works - I suggest to try it out in a
little testbed (qmaster with 5.3p6 and an execd on AIX 4.2). I can't give a
guarantee.
