There is no built-in option to script what 'qconf -mconf' does, but you  
can use this script wrapper found here:
http://gridengine.sunsource.net/servlets/ProjectDownloadList? 
action=download&dlID=73

This imitates the behavior of 'qconf -Xattr' for the -mconf operation.

If this link doesn't work, then go to the link "File Exchange" at the  
top of the main page http://gridengine.sunsource.net, and then look for  
the package called "qconf_scripts.tar.gz".
