[GE users] Question on GridEngine (5.3 and 6.0) execution of user scripts using qsub on linux

Since it takes a very short period of time for your
script to finish, you don't see it reported as
"Running".

You can add a sleep at the end of the script.

And if you want to know the exit status of your job,
use qacct -j <jobid>.
