[GE users] zeroconf (was: adding all the nodes as submit host through the master)

There is another way to this problem...

How about using a provisioning manager to
automatically install/config OS & application
software?

There are a few well-known ones:

- Sun N1 Grid framework:
http://www.sun.com/software/products/service_provisioning/index.xml
http://www.sun.com/software/products/provisioning_server/index.xml

- IBM Tivoli:
http://www-306.ibm.com/software/tivoli/

And Rocks cluster is similar, the head node has all
the information, so the slaves just basically boot
from the master. Thus managing a large Rocks cluster
is not too different than the smaller ones.
