[GE users] Definitions

All the execution hosts (save one) have two CPUs.  What you say makes
sense in that if the job isn't programmed to take advantage of as much
CPU as possible, then of course, it wont.  I was under the impression
that if the capability was there, it would use it automatically.

How many CPUs do those machines have??

By default, SGE schedules 1 job per CPU. So if jobs running on those
machines are not CPU intensive, then you will not get 100% CPU
utilitzation.
