1. Info on my compiler -> gcc version 3.2.3 20030502 (Red Hat Linux 
3.2.3-34)

2. Actually I don't need BerkeleyDB so I skip this stuff w/ option 
'-spool-classic' so my options 're now

3. I also, following your advice, modify "aimk.site" -> 'set 
BERKELEYDB_HOME = '
