Can be a problem if it is nosuid:

"NOTE: the $SGE_ROOT directory also needs to be
NFS-mounted with the "setuid" option. If it is mounted
with "nosuid" from your submit client, then qrsh (and
associated commands) will not work."

there are ways around it:

1) mount NFS with setuid (but can be a security hole).

2) put rsh/rlogin in the local file system, and use
symlinks to point from NFS to the local ones.
