[GE users] OT: Gridengine is the scheduler in Orion's DS-96

Yes, it is interesting, and it would be great if they
can feed their modifications back to us.

However, with the dual-core AMD64/Opteron processors,
a 4 CPU sockets (8 cores) server can be more powerful
than a DS-96, esp. for problems that require lots of
memory and lots of communications between the tasks.
