Hi,

did you download

   sge-V53p7_TAG-src.tar.gz

from

   http://gridengine.sunsource.net/servlets/ProjectDocumentList

I can unpack the file without any problems. File size is 8764514. "cksum"
(Solaris+Linux cksum) is:

   2030948539 8764514 Desktop/sge-V53p7_TAG-src.tar.gz

Used GNU tar on Solaris version 1.13 and on Linux version 1.13.25.
