Hi,

after an abrupt reboot sge_execd won't start on our SGI IA64 machine. Been a
while since I played around with SGE, so I appreciate any hints I get.
Nothing in any logfiles, here's what an strace gives me:

# SGE_ROOT=/opt/sge/mnt/sge-6.0u1; export SGE_ROOT
# SGE_CELL=default; export SGE_CELL

# /opt/sge/mnt/sge-6.0u1/bin/lx24-ia64/sge_execd
Illegal instruction
# strace /opt/sge/mnt/sge-6.0u1/bin/lx24-ia64/sge_execd
...
gettimeofday({1150788257, 955272}, NULL) = 0
socket(PF_INET, SOCK_STREAM, IPPROTO_IP) = 3
setsockopt(3, SOL_SOCKET, SO_REUSEADDR, [6917529027641081857], 4) = 0
bind(3, {sa_family=AF_INET, sin_port=htons(537),
sin_addr=inet_addr("0.0.0.0")}, 16) = 0
listen(3, 5)                            = 0
gettimeofday({1150788257, 955960}, {4294967176, 6917546619827104672}) = 0

When starting from the init script it just sais "starting sge_execd".

Thanks,
