[GE users] Problem using a hostgroup in -masterq and not in -q

I've never used -masterq so I have no idea if this will work right or not..

I'd suggest removing 'q1' from the hosts in @masters and making a 'qm' 
(or some other name) that only contains the hosts in @masters.  Then use 
'-masterq qm' and see if that works.
