[GE users] can't open output file "/some/path/TEST.1763": Permission denied

OK, after more investigations I found this problem persists on amd64
servers and not on intel32. I have upgraded to 6.1u2 as there was kind
of similar Issue 2249 but it didn't help.

What do you think? Where can I have a look more?

Br,
dmitry

is this /some/path a) also shared via NFS and/or b) having the same
protection on the node where it is mounted? If you login to a node:
can you touch any file in /some/path?
