[GE users] Does IP hostname cache still exist in GridEngine 6.x?

Hi Thorsten,

yes, there is also a hostname resolving cache in the new
communication library introduced for 6.x version.

What kind of problems did you have with 5.x? Can you name an issue?

The new cache removes unresolvable hosts after timeout and updates
information also after a timeout.
