[GE users] Queue instance all.q at hostname dropped because it is temporarly not available

"au" is a combination of two state codes:

  (a) -- alarm
  (u) -- unreachable

The root cause is that Grid Engine is not running on your remote  
hosts, or there is a network/firewall problem. State "au" means that  
the qmaster is unable to contact (or remain in contact) with the  
sge_execd daemon on the remote host.

"man qstat" as well as the SGE documentation covers this in detail.
