there are two things. Not every makefile can run in parallel out-of- 
the-box, but must meet certain conditions. Some are outlined on the  
manpage of qmake, or like in this Howto:

When it's failing with qmake on two nodes, it can also fail when  
running on one node, as the interpretation and starting of  
compilation processes is made by qmake, not the conventional make  
(you have only one slot in your queue?).

This is the result of the segmentation fault of ksh. Is ksh your  
default shell? At a first glance I don't see any particular features  
of ksh used. Can you try to run it with bash?
