[GE users] dead line job

I was intrigued,  by looking at http://gridengine.sunsource.net/nonav/source/browse/~checkout~/gridengine/doc/htmlman/htmlman1/qsub.html

I never knew such a thing like "dead line" existed, but I want to be sure its what I think it is :-)

So, for instance if you have a job that needs to be executed by 10:00AM and it takes about 30 mins for it to execute. 

There are a lot of jobs before you. If you submit a deadline job for 9:30AM, the job will be executed around that time no matter what? Basically your priority will go up around that time?

Is this true?
