When I wrote that, I had looked to the accounting records of a bunch of
jobs only. My observations were obviously wrong, as I can see now that the
majority of jobs is reported properly.

I was puzzled by accounting records such as (user, project and job name
modified):

blade-long.q:hostxxx.yyy.de:project1:user1:xxxx.0.0.sge:350252:sge:0:12259745
88:1225974596:1225977250:0:0:2654:5:3:0.000000:0:0:0:0:47389:2:0:0.000000:0:0:0:
0:37771:3929:proj:defaultdepartment:NONE:1:0:2663.090000:250.730937:0.000000:-
l
arch=amd64,h_cpu=108000,h_stack=10M,h_vmem=2300M,os=sl5,tmp_free=1500M:0.00000
0:NONE:362864640.000000

where utime=5 + stime=3 and cpu=2663.09 while wallclock time=2654

There is nothing special with that job, neither > 1 slot nor exit_status
or failed !=0

Still my conclusion that you cannot rely on cpu seems to be valid (at
least in 6.0u9)
