I'm trying to do a build with qmake on a prototype system of sge6.2 with four execution hosts.

When I do it with a normal gmake with an excert of output I get:

theard at eng-prf-cont01:~/build/THIRD_PARTY$ gmake build
CPINC: /home/build/build/theard/THIRD_PARTY/subsystem
CPINC: /home/build/build/theard/THIRD_PARTY/subsystem/zlib
CPINC: /home/build/build/theard/THIRD_PARTY/subsystem/trio
CPINC: /home/build/build/theard/THIRD_PARTY/subsystem/TCL
CPINC: /home/build/build/theard/THIRD_PARTY/subsystem/oSIP2
CPINC: /home/build/build/theard/THIRD_PARTY/subsystem/sqlite3
CPINC: /home/build/build/theard/THIRD_PARTY/subsystem/cryptopp
CPINC: /home/build/build/theard/THIRD_PARTY/subsystem/xerces
CPINC: /home/build/build/theard/THIRD_PARTY/programs
CPINC: /home/build/build/theard/THIRD_PARTY/programs/ilu
CPINC: /home/build/build/theard/THIRD_PARTY/programs/glib
CPINC: /home/build/build/theard/THIRD_PARTY/programs/ORBit
CPINC: /home/build/build/theard/THIRD_PARTY/programs/gnupg

Where as when I do it with qmake the supposed same section of output gives me:

theard at eng-prf-cont01:~/build/THIRD_PARTY$ qmake -cwd -V -- -j 10 build

this call might lead to a recursive qmake call:
if [ "subsystem programs " != "" ]; then dirs="subsystem programs "; else dirs=`ls`; fi; for i in $dirs; do if [ -f $i/Makefile -o -f $i/makefile ]; then (cd $i; echo CPINC: `pwd` 1>&2; qmake cpinc >/dev/null); fi done
starting on local machine

Have I done something wrong here? Or is my grid not working properly? Any Help would be greatful
