Hi,

Yes, there is definitely a problem with the RHEL4 and SJWC. On RHEL5 it
works just fine. I have encountered this problem before. However, ARCO
will work fine you just have to perform some manual steps. You should
still run the ARCo installation first. Your ARCo installation probably
fails after this step:

Registering the SGE reporting module in the Sun Java Web Console
----------------------------------------------------------------
Must have administration privileges to execute this command.
Must have administration privileges to execute this command.
Must have administration privileges to execute this command.
Must have administration privileges to execute this command.
Creating the TOC file ... OK

After running the unsuccessful ARCo installation, manually edit the
/etc/opt/webconsole/console/service.properties file and add these
properties (use fully qualified names, replace the $SGE_ROOT and
$SGE_CELL with your locations):

arco_app_dir=$SGE_ROOT/$SGE_CELL/arco/reporting
arco_logging_level=INFO
arco_config_file=$SGE_ROOT/$SGE_CELL/arco/reporting/config.xml

Create file reporting.reg  in
/etc/opt/webconsole/console/prereg/com.sun.grid.arco_6.2, (the regnot
file, this is what is created during deploy), with the following info in
it and restarted the smcwebserver. Again, replace with fully qualified
names.

system=false
debug=0
context=reporting
type=webapp
location=$SGE_ROOT/$SGE_CELL/arco/reporting

Then everything should work fine, except you still will face the same
issue when trying to run the wcadmin command.

Regards,

Jana
