[GE users] Regarding addition of Execution Host

a) They must be of the same version.

b) This sounds, like $SGE_ROOT isn't shared, and unless you copy the  
$SGE_ROOT/default/common to the node.

c) No firewall between the machines? Or at least SGE's ports are open?

d) Port were in former times 536/537. Nowadays the standard is
