[GE users] ARCO database crash

I think so. Please refer to 
http://gridengine.sunsource.net/howto/arco/arco_mysql.txt, step 5
ARCo requires the use of transaction-safe tables. The default MySQL 
table type, MyISAM, does not support transactions.
