Hi.

i have installed sge6.2 on a cluster head node. i have configured that
as the qmaster and also an execution host.

[root at slaserver ~]# ps -ef | grep sge
sgeadmin 3341 1 0 10:41 ? 00:00:00
/usr/local/sge-root/bin/lx24-x86/sge_execd
sgeadmin 3531 1 0 10:41 ? 00:00:00
/usr/local/sge-root/bin/lx24-x86/sge_qmaster
root 4154 4109 0 10:44 pts/1 00:00:00 grep sge

These are the two services which are running.. but i cant find any service
named as schedd is there any way to start the schedd service or whether i
have to configure for the scheduler service.. and to run a parallel job
whether this service is required????

with regards,

RB
