[GE users] qmake problem

The /usr/sge is shared across all nodes? Additional hints you can  
find in $SGE_ROOT/default/spool/qmaster/messages or the node where  
the slave task was scheduled to, i.e. $SGE_ROOT/default/spool/ 
<exechost>/messages.

You can also increase the level of verbosity by setting "loglevel   
log_info" in SGE's configuration.
