[GE users] mysql path

hi,
 
to install ARCo i need first to install mysql and i did  that but during the installation it didn't ask where to install mysql
and normally the path should be /usr/local/mysql
but when i went  there i didn't find it
i'm sure i have mysql 5.0.67 but i don't know the path and if i didn't i cannot create the database for ARCo
any help?
