------- Additional comments from ernst at sunsource.net Thu Feb 19 07:34:25 -0800 2009 -------
Setup a $HOME/.sge_request file with following content:

-jsv /yourdir/scriptfile

The JSV script prints out an environment variable (see comments).

Doing a sleeper submit is fine.

 % qsub -b y /bin/sleep
C =
Your job 39 ("sleep") has been submitted

But running test_drmaa_perf results in a segmentation fault:

% test_drmaa_perf -jobs 2 -threads 2 sleep 1
Segmentation fault

But when moving the .sge_request file with the -jsv param the
DRMAA job submission is just fine.

% mv $HOME/.sge_request $HOME/.sge_request_old
% test_drmaa_perf -jobs 2 -threads 2 sleep 1
	 "35"
	 "36"
	 "37"
	 "38"
submission took 0.061 seconds
job "35" finished regularly
job "36" finished regularly
job "38" finished regularly
job "37" finished regularly
wait took 15.621 seconds
jobs took 15.682 seconds
