it's x86_64 Linux with "qrsh over ssh" configured. But actually it's a
general problem. Every qrsh process has a memory footprint and you just
need to start enough of them to run into the mentioned problems.

With SGE 6.2 there might be a solution when using different queues for
master and slave jobs. But checking qrsh memory consumption in a
parallel job is maybe completely wrong at all...
