[GE users] SGE execution host installation issue

Hi,
the /etc/hosts files look good. Try calling on each host following commands:
$SGE_ROOT/utilbin/lx24-x86/gethostname
and
$SGE_ROOT/utilbin/lx24-x86/gethostbyname <the_other_host>

Do they return the expected values? They should not, according to the 
first error the master host should not be resolvable on the slave1 node.

How does your /etc/nsswitch.conf file looks like?
