Hi,

Can someone clarify the difference between SGE (what is available on
the Sun site) and GE (what is available on gridengine.org).
I'm confused because the term "SGE" seems to be used interchangeably with GE.
The SGE license seems to state that it is only free for evaluation,
does the liberal use of "SGE" on the mailing list mean that most
people license SGE from Sun? Which one is actually "free" so that I
can use it without purchasing anything and what are the technical
differences, if any, between SGE and Gridengine?

Thanks,

jbh
