[GE users] Problem Installing SGE 6.2u2 on MacOS 10.5.6

I downloaded the SGE 6.2U2 binaries for MacOS x86 today from
http://www.sun.com/software/sge/get_it.jsp. The previous
release, SGE 6.2U1 installed without problems, but suffered
from the redoubted "can't find password file entry" problem.

As root, I ran install_qmaster, but it failed at the point shown below:

-----------------------------
[much verbage snipped]

The following parameters for the cluster configuration were configured:

    execd_spool_dir /var/spool/sge6_2u2
    administrator_mail jlforrest at berkeley.edu

Do you want to change the configuration parameters (y/n) [n] >>

./util/install_modules/inst_common.sh: line 213: 88559 Trace/BPT trap $*

Command failed: ./utilbin/darwin-x86/spooldefaults configuration /tmp/configuration_2009-03-09_15:07:04

Probably a permission problem. Please check file access permissions.
Check read/write permission. Check if SGE daemons are running.
-------------------

As this output suggests, I can replicate this problem by
running the following simple command:

root# ./utilbin/darwin-x86/spooldefaults configuration
dyld: Symbol not found: _JSV_Type
   Referenced from: /opt/sge6_2u2/./utilbin/darwin-x86/spooldefaults
   Expected in: /opt/ge6.2u1/lib/darwin-x86/libspoolc.dylib

This didn't happen in SGE 6.2u1. Any suggestions?

Cordially,

Trace/BPT trap
