[GE users] default mail behavior

You can write a wrapper script around the mailer (see sge_conf(5)).

The script should be no more than 15 lines of scripting code, and the
main task is to change the address from "user at host" to "user at domain".
Then the wrapper calls the real mailer with the address transformed to
the "user at domain" format.
