Hello,

I have come across following issue.

If I run a command w/ pseudo terminal allocated and pipe the result to the file I get error about
not being able to set the terminal mode. See below

% qrsh -pty yes 'uname -a' | tee ggg.log
Can't set terminal mode. Error reason: Invalid argument (22)
Can't set terminal mode. Error reason: Invalid argument (22)

Execution host is set to the Error state afterwards.

If the 'tee' command is made a part of qrsh call - and therefore gets executed on the remote hosts - everything is ok.
% qrsh -pty yes 'uname -a | tee ggg.log'

The error gets displayed only if running w/ 'builtin' rsh_command/daemon configuration.
My former configuration that makes use of ssh/sshd works fine even w/ pseudo terminal (ssh -t) assigned

The command as shown above doesn't make too much sense on its own. Within our internal flow we configure on one spot whether or not the
pseudo terminal shall be allocated when submitting job and then run w/ that knowing that some tools require it and it is usually not a
problem for other tools ...

I wonder has anybody else seen anything similar?

GE version I'm testing is GE 6.2u2_1.

Thanks,
--Milan
