[GE users] berkeley_db_svc hangs RedHat 4.7

Matthew,

I already looked a RH's bug-database, if there is any know issue.
We are only using the berkeley db as 3rd party. So we do not change
anything on the code.
I think we should address this problem to RH. Did you already tried a 32
bit berkeley db binary?
