See http://gridengine.sunsource.net/issues/show_bug.cgi?id=2366

It looks like it has only just been reported, 18-Sep-2009.

I looked at it, the problem is exactly like mine, but the date is 2007 and not 2009.
Isn't it? And some follow-up from October 2009. But no resolution.....
Am I reading the dates incorrectly or nothing has been done with it for the past 2 years?....

Hi,

According to the documentation the .sge_qstat file in user's home
directory is supposed
to override the global $SGE/default/common/sge_qstat file.
We have :
 cat $SGE_ROOT/default/common/sge_qstat
-u *
and when a user creates in his home directory a .sge_qstat with a line:
-u <his uname>
Still qstat will show all the jobs.

Has anybody observed this before?
If yes, is it fixed in the latest release? (we are running 6.2u2)

Thanks a lot,

iwona
