Alternatively, if you _have_ to use zero based indexes for your files, you can do this:

#!/bin/sh
#$ -q short.q
#$ -t 1-5

let i=$SGE_TASK_ID-1

#$ -o /usr/local/tmp/$i.tmp

Thanks for your reponse. This method I already thought and wanted to know if there is better way to do it. 

Also, it is possible to launch the executable from the script with stream redirections to wanted files. But this methods I am not going to use. So my decision is not to use Zero based indexes in my app.
