hello,

i just installed grid engine on ubuntu 10.04 but when i source settings.sh i get error messages:

[: 359: 11: unexpected operator
[: 359: 11: unexpected operator

and although the environment variables are up:

pcoelho at nymeria:~$ printenv | grep SGE
MANPATH=/share/sge/ge6.2u5/$SGE_ROOT/util/arch -mt:$SGE_ROOT/util/arch -m
SGE_CELL=default
PATH=/share/sge/ge6.2u5/bin/$SGE_ROOT/util/arch:/usr/local/sbin:/usr/local/bin:/usr/sbin:/usr/bin:/sbin:/bin:/usr/games
SGE_EXECD_PORT=6445
SGE_QMASTER_PORT=6444
SGE_ROOT=/share/sge/ge6.2u5
SGE_CLUSTER_NAME=p6444

the os apparently won't find the path:

pcoelho at nymeria:~$ qmon
The program 'qmon' is currently not installed. You can install it by typing:
sudo apt-get install gridengine-qmon

same problems if i try using tcsh instead.

did anyone have a similar problem, or have a suggestion how to fix it?
i don't remember having these problems in previous versions of ubuntu.

thx.
