[GE users] Different max slots for each queue?

Thanks Dan,

I've been playing around with this some and did some searching but can't find an answer.

Say I want restrict the rule to a specific Linux group (or groups), do I need to put the group(s) in a grid engine ACL and use that, or can I list Linux groups in the RQS? For example:

{
   name         user_slot_limits
   description Limit slots for various users and groups
   enabled      TRUE
   limit        users jsmith to slots=32
   limit        users {@lingrp1, at lingrp2} queues nehalem.q to slots=20
   limit        users {*} queues nehalem.q to slots=64
}

 * jsmith can only use 32 slots on the entire cluster
 * users in Linux groups lingrp1 and lingrp2 are limited to 20 slots in nehalem.q
 * all other users are limited to 64 slots in nehalem.q

Or do I create an ACL and use that:

   limit        users {@sgeacl} queues nehalem.q to slots=20

Thanks,

Mike

You're looking for:

limit users {*} queues nehalem.q to slots=20
