[GE users] max open files (ulimit -n) in SGEv62u5

Mi -

I've had issues with ulimit and SGE before, so I thought I'd do a quick
look at this - we use RHEL5 as our primary OS here, and bash as the
primary shell, so when I do a "man ulimit" on this system, I see :

> -n The maximum number of open file descriptors (most systems do not allow this value to be set)

so, if the comment about "most systems" is true, then you might not be able to
change this value without changing a kernel setting or perhaps even recompiling
the kernel. You may need to check with an expert on your particular OS.
