Parts of the source code still contain 2 versions
of code, one for the new and one for the old
communication.

Remove the old communication code.

If GE is unable to run an interactive job, a
message gets logged to the qmaster messages file:

Tue Oct 5 13:47:45 2004|qmaster|xxxxx|I|no free
resource for interactive job 3880696

One of my customers requested that we also provide
a user name. I plan to add the username to
produce the following message:

Tue Oct 5 13:47:45 2004|qmaster|xxxxx|I|no free
resource for interactive job 3880696 for user
"davidson"
