If you call sge_ca with the '-usercert' command, it then tried to call 'openssl
rand -rand /dev/urandom -out /some/file 2048'. However, the openssl command it
tries to call will never exit, thus the sge_ca command will never exit, since it
will never finish reading from /dev/urandom.

Please see https://bugzilla.redhat.com/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=165036 for more
info on why the openssl command will not exit.

This behavior in sge_ca is new in 6.0u4. It worked fine in 6.0u3.

In 6.0u6
In libs/gdi/sge_gdi_request.c (CVS 1.48.2.1) lines 756 and 768
a variable "target" is referenced, that is not there. This happens
only with "aimk -kerberos", because the references are inside
#ifdef KERBEROS

Not sure about the status of the -kerberos build.
Maybe Shannon Davidson can help you.

http://docs.sun.com/app/docs/doc/817-5677/6ml49n2bt?a=view#i999558

I just read through the "Sharing Functional Ticket Shares"
section. In it it says:

  * Selecting the Share Functional Tickets check box means that
functional shares are replicated among jobs.

  * Clearing the Share Functional Tickets check box means that
functional shares are distributed among jobs.

Then in the following paragraph, it seems to contradict the above:

"Jobs with many siblings that belong to the same category member
receive relatively small share portions if you select the Share
Functional Tickets check box. On the other hand, if you clear the
Share Functional Tickets check box, all sibling jobs receive the same
share amount as their category member."

Before I explain my confusion, the checkbox in the new qmon GUI is
labeled "Share Functional Shares". Anyway, it would seem that "if you
clear the Share Functional Tickets check box, all sibling jobs receive
the same share amount as their category member" implies the first
bullet point, which requires the checkbox be selected.
