Hello,

i tried to download the current gridengine Version with WinCVS and TortoiseCVS.
Both programs return this error:

cvs [server aborted]: DomainFAQ.html,v is ambiguous; could mean domainFAQ.html,v
or DomainFAQ.html,v

because of this i can't download the complete source.
does anyone have an idea what is wrong or how the problem can be cleared?

Kind regards,

BoLzI

In the manpage for "queue_conf", there is no mention of the supported syntax of the "slots" directive supporting the hostgroup bracket
notation, such as:

slots 1,[@4cores=5],[@8cores=10]

The current manpage says simply an integer is supported:

   slots
The maximum number of concurrently executing jobs allowed in the queue. Type is number, valid values are 0
       to 9999999.

   ------- Additional comments from reuti Tue Dec 15 15:45:53 -0700 2009 -------
This format can be used for all entries except "qname" and "hostlist". The syntax is described under the entry "hostlist" right now in a
general form for all following settings.

If that is the case, then it should be repeated under each of the affected entries in the manpage.

As far as I can tell, the /tmp/*_messages files deamons use early in startup
are created without the exclusive flag. As a result, ordinary users can
create symlinks in their place and cause the daemons to write to arbitrary
files. The files should either be opened exclusivly or the locations should
be changed to a location not writable by ordinary users.
