Issue #: 2225 Platform: All Reporter: andreas (andreas) Component: gridengine OS: All Subcomponent: testsuite Version: 6.1beta2 CC: None defined Status: NEW Priority: P3 Resolution: Issue type: ENHANCEMENT Target milestone: --- Assigned to: joga (joga) QA Contact: joga URL: http://gridengine.sunsource.net/issues/show_bug.cgi?id=2224 * Summary: Need test to verify category string is correctly created Status whiteboard: Attachments: Issue 2225 blocks: Votes for issue 2225: Opened: Thu Mar 29 03:09:00 -0700 2007 ------------------------ It would be good to have a test that ensures the scheduler-internal category string is correctly created. Depending on use of usersets and projects to manage resource access the category string can contain userset/project names or not. An example for a bug is #2224 resource quotas broken after qmaster restart manual test description for this bug is Configure a resource quota set-up as described in the CR. Without the fix Grid Engine let only 10 jobs run concurrently after qmaster restart. With the fix 50 jobs run concurrently. Fix verification can be done also by checking the category string contained in the accounting(5) file. If accounting entries written after qmaster restart contain no -P <project> specification even though a project-based resource quote set was configured this is a proof for the bug.
