Issue #: 2330 Platform: All Reporter: andreas (andreas) Component: gridengine OS: All Subcomponent: clients Version: current CC: None defined Status: REOPENED Priority: P3 Resolution: Issue type: ENHANCEMENT Target milestone: --- Assigned to: roland (roland) QA Contact: roland URL: * Summary: qsub -ar should accept not only AR-id but also AR-name Status whiteboard: Attachments: Issue 2330 blocks: Votes for issue 2330: Opened: Thu Jul 12 09:04:00 -0700 2007 ------------------------ DESCRIPTION: The qsub -ar switch requires an AR-id as option argument. In addition also an AR-name should be allowed. The AR-name can be specified with qrsub -N <name> option ------- Additional comments from roland Fri Jul 13 00:01:34 -0700 2007 ------- The AR name is an optional attribute of an AR object and must not be identical. Therefore using the name may not be matched to exactly one AR. Because AR-Job relation is defined as 1:N this RFE is invalid. ------- Additional comments from andreas Fri Jul 13 02:16:57 -0700 2007 ------- Reopening. No problem. As a matter of course qsub -ar AR-name would fail if there is no AR with that name or if the AR-name is not unique. Note, this is just an RFE anyways.
